Paper Talk: Arsenal & Everton battle; Leicester eye Leeds star

Arsenal and Everton will compete to sign one of England’s most promising youngsters, while Leicester have their sights set on Leeds’ left-back, according to today’s papers.

HULL PROSPECT IN DEMAND

Arsenal and Everton are set to do battle for highly-rated Hull defender Josh Tymon in January, with Arsene Wenger and Ronald Koeman keen admirers of the 17-year-old.
Tymon impressed at left-back in the League Cup win over Bristol City on Tuesday and is expected to make his Premier League bow at Watford on Saturday with Andy Robertson sidelined through injury.
According to both the Daily Mirror and The Sun, Arsenal and Everton were already monitoring Tymon’s progress in Hull’s development squad, and regard the player as one of England’s best prospects.
The youngster has yet to sign his first professional contract at the Tigers, and both interested parties are prepared to meet whatever compensation fee Hull demand.
