Frank Gashumba Arrested

Sisimuka Uganda Boss Frank Gashumba has been arrested and is now being held at CID head offices in Kampala on the orders of the states.
Through his Facebook page, Gashumba has said; “As expected the State has ordered for my Arrest, now being held at CID headquarters”.

 

It’s not yet clear what could have resulted to his arrest.

Gashumba has been involved in tough verbal exchange with prominent persons like Speaker Rebecca Kadaga when the latter described him as a Rwandese who shouldn’t be criticizing Ugandans.
Gashumba threatened to sue the Speaker if she does not apologize to him.
Recently, the Communications regulator, Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) issued an injunction halting NTV from hosting the embattled Gashumba until further notice.
Frank Gashumba reacted by attacking UCC and describing them as Certified Cowards, saying that this is not the work of UCC but rather the government is trying to stop him from being broadcasted.
“I suspect small vampires who have participated in looting and mismanaging our country, for many years, are using UCC to fight our freedom of expression.” Said Gashumba
